11:11

It’s 11:11, time to make a wish

I close my eyes and give my hair a swish

My fingers touch my forehead

Followed by my chest

 My lips start moving silently

As I give my brain a rest

I just am so happy

I caught the clock just in time

I hope I’ll win my B-ball game

That’s the wish  I’m making in my mind

I open my eyes but I’m not quite done

Still a few words to go

My eyes move upward slowly

I just want to see the time

But It’s already 11:13

There’s no brain to blame but mine

(Poem about basketball game will be next… the title is “winning shot”. Above this blog post.)

Bed time

I squirted some toothpaste on my toothbrush

Scrubbing each and every tooth it was no big rush

When I was done Dad took me to my room

Mom gave me a kiss and told me she loved her rainbow loom

I tried to relax hoping to spot some sheep

But my eyes kept opening I wouldn’t get any sleep

“Daddy!” I yelled hoping to wake him up

But mommy came in with some water in a cup

She asked me what was wrong and I explained it quite long

I think she fell asleep because I didn’t hear a peep

But when I was done mom started to hum

“I know this song!” I exclaimed with great joy

“It’s about a tree and a little baby boy!”

Mother gave me the quiet signal with her finger to her lip

I repeated after her using my index fingers tip

The last thing I remember was mom leaving my room

The pretty moonlight sparkled on moms rainbow loom

                                        It was bedtime

There goes broccoli…for the win!!!!! Go go go!!!!! Uh oh…….splat!
“Piper! Do not play with your food! Pick up your broccoli from the ground and throw it out!”Oh no!!!! Broccoli squandered his chance of winning the super bowl…. well, for me the super cup. I guess he wouldn’t want to get drenched in milk anyway.

I closed my eyes and remembered the board walk…..ice cream, sand, water, French fries, sun bathi-

“Piper.” My mom rudely interrupted my day dream. “Eat your carrots.”
I squinted my eyes a tiny bit to glance at that horrible tasting orange blob.
After taking a few deep breaths, I laid the cold carrot on the tip of my tongue with my teeth barely biting enough to hold it in place.
I think I felt my taste buds dying.

Monster

Once in a beautiful meadow, there lived a man who cared for and loved the meadow so much. He would go for a swim in the meadow every day. Even know the flowers were so beautiful, he NEVER picked them because he believed that every time he picked one, the king would get med and they would all turn against him and burn his house down. The man was very scared because he only had a small log cabin-not much bigger then a small shead. The next day the man came out to swim in the water but then he heard a loud noise. He jumped and yelled, “Help! Help!” But the noise seem to just get closer.

The day my sister turned purple

This is a story about how my sister turned purple. About two weeks ago I heard on the news report that Mr. purple was coming back. Maybe he sounds nice, wich he is, but his pet, Scruffy is not. He has big sharp teeth and red eyes. And I haven’t even gotten to the worst part yet. His nose looks like a human nose and it’s PURPLE!!! If you were wondering, that is how Mr. Purple got his name. about two years ago,Mr purple lived next door to us, back then scruffy never hurt anyone because he was just a little pup. Then he ate a guy at the store because he was buying dog food for HIS dog!!! About two weeks later, he got his pointy teeth, red eyes, and human nose. It’s Purple because the guy he ate at the store had a purple shirt on.

Everyone stayed in their houses when he actually came. But, when my mom and dad weren’t looking, my sister snuck out and started playing jump rope because she was too yong to under stand that she could get hurt. Then, she got bitten and started to turn purple.
That is how my sister turned purple.

Maria and Lily

The sun was shining on Maria’s face as she ran out the door trying to catch the bus, again. She hopped in just in time to see her friend Lily in the front seat.

     “Hey Maria! what’s up?”

     “Nothing much. How about you?”

     “You know, the usual.”

Maria sat down next to Lily just as the bus drove away from Maria’s house. It wasn’t a far drive so they were already close to school.

“Good morning girls!”Mr. Cook, the principal said, to Lily and Maria. The two girls nodded politely, smiled and continued up the stairs.Their class was at the top floor of the large elementary school. They walked by all of the second-grade classes and took a right turn, soon at their classroom. “Good morning girls!” Mr. Smith welcomedthem. Their teacher was a tall man with bushy eyebrows and brown hair.

Lily smiled again and Maria replied,”You too!”since the first day of school, there would always be a list of things to do on  the I P M board. Things listed on the board were the classes morning work. The things today were unpack, clean out desk,do the math worksheet on your desk, and choose a partner to check with. The two best friends read the board, took out their water bottles, and hung up the coats. Maria only needed to take a quick glance at her desk to realize that it was already clean.

Maria was done completing the worksheet, she walked over to Lily. Lily still had a few more questions to answer but Maria was patient. When Lily was done the worksheet, they both checked and it was correct!

Pig

There once was a pig🐷

The pig had a wig

Then one day down came a twig☄️

The pig said “ouch!” And jumped away

But it wasn’t a twig it was a little egg🐣

The pig cared for the egg, slept with it too

He played with it ate with it, it was all fun to do👍🏻

Then one day the chick fully came out

And from this day on he lives in Pig’s snout🐽

Under ground

There was a place called school. There were kids reading and writing and doing math (and yelling). They had a teacher named Mrs Morrow. She was nice, but the kids in her class were not. It was fourth grade.

“Popsicles?” Mrs Morrow tried. Everyone scurried to there seats like magnets going on a refrigerator. Mrs Morrow knew she’d been beaten.

She went to the teachers loung and brought back a popsicle
